Murder investigation in Boscombe after man suffers head injuries

Police have started a murder investigation after a man was found with head injuries in Boscombe in Dorset.

Detectives were called to Churchill Road at 4.17pm on Wednesday to find a man, aged in his 40s, with life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to hospital but sadly died on Thursday.

Police are treating his death as suspicious.

His next of kin have not yet been told.

Officers are carrying out house-to-house visits and making CCTV enquiries.
