Superman's son opens children's centre in memory of his father

A new centre offering treatment for children living with paralysis has opened in West Sussex.

The facility is based at Neurokinex in Crawley.

It's backed by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which has been set up in memory of Superman actor Christopher Reeve and his wife.

Christopher Reeve was paralysed in a horse riding accident

Superman actor Christopher Reeve was paralysed in a horse riding accident in 1995. He died in 2004, aged 52.

His family is now involved in the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life of those who've suffered spinal chord injury.

A new children's facility, backed by the Foundation, is now providing treatment and support to youngsters like Jasper Thornton-Jones.
