Inquiry into police handling of Gaia Pope case
Was the police investigation bungled? That's the question being asked after it was announced Dorset Police are to be investigated over their handling of the case involving missing teenager Gaia Pope.
The 19-year-old was reported missing in November. Her body was found in Swanage 11 days later. The Independent Office for Police Conduct now wants a full explanation of actions and decisions made by officers. Richard Slee talked to Marienna Pope-Weidemann, Gaia's cousin.
