Region prepares for 'Beast from the East'
The Big Chill has begun. A snowy blast dubbed 'The Beast from the East' is hitting our region - with much more snow expected in the next few days.
Already preparations are underway - against the arctic conditions- which could feel as low as minus 10, if not minus 15 - because of the wind chill factor.

A severe weather warning for snow and blizzards is in place across the South East, as Sussex and Kent prepare for the worst of the winter. Kent County Council has declared a "snow emergency" due to the severity of what's to come.
