Today:Early showers will clear, then dry with sunny spells. An early slight frost is likely inland, but strong or gale northeasterly winds will lift temperatures near coasts, but still feeling cold. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Tonight:Dry with increasing cloud overnight. A frost will return to western counties, but temperatures will be higher in east with cloudier conditions and strong easterly winds, but still feeling cold. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Monday:Mainly dry and cloudy through the day with some early brightness possible in Oxfordshire. Brisk easterly winds will be strong along coasts giving a chilly feel to the day. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:Mainly cloudy on Tuesday with drizzle and brisk winds. Occasional rain is possible on Wednesday. Mainly dry on Thursday with sunny spells and possible overnight frosts.
