Why do Britons travel to fight in Syria?
We have already reported the sad news that a man from Portsmouth who travelled to Syria to fight Islamic State had been killed.
Oliver Hall, who was 24, is believed to have died while clearing mines in Raqqa. He is the fourth person from our region to be killed.
So what motivates Britons to get involved in the conflict? Our reporter Elodie Harper has been talking to a man who has just returned from Syria - he says his reasons were deep and complex.
