Man needs ear surgery after assault in Atik bar

A man needed surgery after part of his ear was bitten off during an attack in popular nightclub in Windsor.

Officers were called to Atik following the incident at 1.50 am on Tuesday 26th September.

A 20-year-old man was in the main bar area of the club on William Street when he was assaulted.

The victim required surgery for his injuries and has now been released from hospital.

The offenders are described as:

  • A white man, around 6ft 2ins with short black hair, wearing a navy blue t-shirt.

  • A man shorter than 6ft, of a medium build with short hair, wearing a chequered shirt with a white t-shirt underneath.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.

An 18-year old man from Windsor has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs. He has been released under investigation.
