Motorcyclist killed, passenger injured after crash near Bishops Waltham

An 18 year old man has died in hospital after he came off his motorbike in Bishops Waltham.

His passenger, a 15 year old girl, remains in hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The accident happened on the B3035 in Bishops Waltham at 8.45pm on Saturday.

The motorcyclist was heading towards Botley.

No other vehicle is thought to have been involved.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 18-year-old man, was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Next of kin has been informed.
