Trapped victims rescued from precarious crashed car
Three people have been rescued from a car which came off the M40 in Oxfordshire and crashed down an embankment.
The accident happened at around 6.10am Saturday on the northbound carriageway near Junction 9 at Wendlebury.
Fire engines from Slade, Wheatley and Thame attended the incident along with a specialist rescue vehicle from Kidlington.
Three people were trapped in the red Honda Jazz, which had come to rest in a precarious position.
Crews used specialist cutting equipment to access the occupants whilst colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service assessed the severity of their injuries.
Crews then assisted in extricating the occupants before they were taken to hospital via ambulance.
