Robbers stole £5,000 of cigarettes in daring raid

Two robbers made off with £5,000 pounds worth of cigarettes after forcing their way into a Co-Op store in Sussex.

The incident happened at about 3.40am on Friday 30th June. Sussex Police were alerted by an intruder alarm in the store. When officers arrived at the store in High Street, Selsey - they saw that the front window had been smashed. The intruders had climbed over the counter and ripped open the tobacco kiosk. They got away with £5,000 of goods.

Detectives are now appealing for anyone who may know who the men in the CCTV footage are - to come forward.
