Man gets 20 months in jail for killing teen
A man has been sentenced to one year and 8 months in prison after pleading guilty to death by careless driving of a 16-year-old boy.
Macaully Sutcliffe (known as Mac to his friends and family) was knocked down while riding his moped at the junction of Bloswood Lane near Whitchurch last October.
The teenager who was from Applegate, St Mary Bourne in Hampshire was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
Mohammed Zaman who is 32 and from Reading will serve 20 month custodial sentence. He has also been given 2 years 10 months disqualification with a requirement to retest.
