Five charged with murder after fatal 'brawl' in Oxford
Five people, including a 16 year old boy, have been charged with murder after a fatal 'brawl' in Oxford on Thursday.
Police were called to reports of a group of men fighting in Jourdain Road in Blackbird Leys at around 11pm on 1st June.
Officers attended and found a man in his late twenties with serious injuries, who was taken to hospital but sadly died.
The man has since been formally identified as 27 year old Christopher Lemonius from Oxford.
27 year old Yousef Koudoua of Balfour Road, Oxford, 19 year old Yasine Lamzini of Jourdain Road, Oxford and 23 year old Rashaun Stoute of Church Cowley Road, Oxford have been charged with murder.
24 year old Connor Woodward of Haldene Road, Oxford and a 16 year old boy from Oxford have also been charged with murder.
All five will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court today.
A 19-year-old man from Oxford, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released with no further action.
