Passengers & businesses call for 'Southern' resolution
Southern Rail today said it hopes to run around three-quarters of its trains during a strike by train guards next Wednesday.
However, some trains between London Bridge and Brighton - will not operate, nor will some services along the south coast from Southampton and Portsmouth. However there will be a shuttle bus service between Ashford International and Rye during the peak travel period.
Meanwhile, there's growing pressure tonight from passengers, and the South's business community to resolve the dispute over driver-only trains. Our Transport Correspondent, Mike Pearse, sent this report from Three Bridges in Sussex.
The interviewees are Christina Ewbank, from the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce; and Mike Hewitson from Transport Focus.
The Southern Rail website will have the latest updates on travel provision for strike days, and whether there are replacement buses in your area.
