Couple start crowdfunding page to pay for IVF

The couple are using the internet to help them raise money

A couple who are desperate to start a family are asking members of the public to help pay for their fertility treatment.

Anna Lewis and Simon Knight, from Brighton, no longer qualify for IVF on the NHS. They have set-up a crowdfunding webpage which has already raised thousands of pounds in just a few days.

News of the couple's efforts to find the money comes as fertility experts have told ITV Meridian about the extraordinary lengths some couples are going to, in order to fulfil their dreams of having their own child. Our correspondent Derek Johnson reports.
