Simon's Blog - Yellow Snow Warning

Credit: Met Office

There have been a few wintry flurries around this last couple of days but now the Met Office have issued a warning of snow for parts of Kent and East Sussex.

The sleet and snow showers will arrive this evening and overnight into tomorrow and they look likely to band together, so we may see a small area of more persistent snow with some accumulations of 2-3 cm.

The Met Office say some disruption to transport is possible, as well as slippery conditions on roads and pavements, although many places will see little or no cover and where it falls it is likely to melt through Saturday.
