Six-year-old drowned by father and left on a bed
An inquest has heard how a six-year-old girl was drowned in the bath by her father, who then killed himself.
The body of Keziah Flux-Edmonds, was found at her home in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight in June.
Her body had been left on a bed. Her father's body was found hanging from a loft hatch.
At the inquest on the Isle of Wight, Keziah's picture took pride of place in front of her mother, who revealed in a written statement that she had received a text from Mr Flux-Edmonds shortly after she left for work.
It ended: 'So I shall just leave you with memories'.
The inquest heard that Mr Flux-Edmonds had suffered with issues of depression and had tried to take his own life on a previous occasion.
The coroner recorded a verdict of unlawful killing on Keziah, and a verdict of suicide on her father.
