A stunning nineteenth century Buckinghamshire manor house has been remodelled - in gingerbread.

Once the home of the Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild to display his collection of arts and to entertain his high society friends, Waddesdon Manor in The Vale of Aylesbury, is now a National Trust attraction.

Now, a model of the house has been constructed entirely from gingerbread. It is two metres wide and one metre high.

The Biscuiteers’ house model took two icers over 500 hours to create, with 240 eggs and 216kg of icing.
