Second arrest over Bournemouth stabbing

A second person has been arrested in connection with a reported stabbing in Bournemouth.

Officers were called at around 2am on Wednesday 26 October to an address on Cromer Road in Bournemouth where the alleged offence occurred.

The victim – a man aged in his 40s – suffered serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening and is being treated in hospital.

A 29-year-old Bournemouth woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until the end of October.

A second person - a 20-year-old man of no fixed abode - has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently assisting police with enquiries.
