Man jailed for running over woman and leaving her for dead

A man's been jailed for nine years for running over a woman in his car during an argument, and leaving her in the road with serious injuries

Terry McDonagh, aged 24, of India Way, Hammersmith and Fulham, was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court after pleading guilty to GBH with intent and dangerous driving with intent to cause serious injury.

The charges relate to an incident outside Wexham Park Golf Club in which a woman was run over following a verbal confrontation.

Investigating Officer Det Con Thomas Gregory of Local CID based at High Wycombe police station said it was an 'horrific incident':

McDonagh has been disqualified from driving for nine years and six months with extended re-test.
