Police release CCTV of McDonalds punch suspect

Police want to speak to this man in connection with a serious assault on a McDonalds worker who suffered life-changing injuries.

The victim was punched in the face at the fast food restaurant on Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth at approximately 11.07pm on Friday 14 October.

A male member of staff was manning the door to help customers leaving and preventing others from entering as the restaurant was closing.

The offender left McDonalds but then tried to go back in. The staff member was preventing him from doing so when he was punched in the face.

The offender fled the scene. He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall with black hair. He was wearing a grey jacket, black jeans and white trainers.

The victim was taken to hospital where he is still receiving treatment for possible life-changing injuries.

Detective Constable Joanne Poultney, of Bournemouth CID, said: "I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident and anyone with information about the man responsible to contact police."
