Police concerns for 14 year old girl missing on trip to Sussex

Zena hasn't made contact with her family for several days

Police are concerned about the welfare of missing 14-year-old Zena Purfield.

The teenager, who is originally from Bexhill, was visiting from Manchester and due to stay in Sussex for a week from Saturday, 8 October.

However she did not return to Manchester on 15 October as planned.

Zena has since been spotted with friends in Bexhill and St Leonards.

She is described as white, 5' 6” and of slim build with very long blonde hair which she often wears in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a blue hooded top and a jacket with a fur lined hood.

Missing persons co-ordinator Lynda Lynch said: "We just want to make sure Zena is ok.

Although she has been spotted, she has yet to make contact with either police or her family.
