A chilly but sunny start with any mist patches lifting. Dry with plenty of sunshine all day with a light easterly breeze across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Essex.

Monday:Early mist and fog patches will quickly clear leaving another fine day with plenty of prolonged sunshine. Winds will also remain light and mainly from an easterly direction. Maximum temperature 17 deg C (63 deg F).

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:Dry Tuesday, with further prolonged sunshine. Perhaps rather cloudier and cooler Wednesday and Thursday, but staying dry with some sunshine. Easterly breeze increasing strong near coasts.
