Simon's Blog - Hot Hot Hot

Well what a week it's been!

Chock full of weather related records, as Tuesday was the warmest day of the year so far, when the temperature reached a whopping 34.4C in Gravesend and that made it also the hottest September day since 1911.

And thanks to Gravesend getting 30.1 C today, we've had three consecutive days in September with 30C or more and that's the first time it's happened since 1929.

But if you've been struggling with the heat, spare a thought for the team at The Living Rainforest in Berkshire, where it's hot and humid everyday.

I found out why when I met up with Operations Manager Rupert West.

It really is an amazing experience and if you'd like to find out more...click here.
