VIDEO: Police at the scene after 16 year old boy is stabbed
VIDEO: Police are still hunting several youths after a 16 year old boy was left critically injured with a stab wound.
The teenager has undergone emergency surgery following the incident outside a supermarket in Portslade.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Abinger Road at 5.17pm on Saturday where a group of youths were gathered in the car park of the Co-op store.
The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious stab wounds and was taken into surgery on Saturday evening.
Detectives are now investigating what happened but say they believe in was an isolated incident
A 15-year-old boy from Hove was arrested shortly before 8pm on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and an 18-year-old man from Portslade was arrested just under an hour later on suspicion of affray.
Both remain in police custody.
