A special street party built entirely from Lego has been thrown in Windsor to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.

The scene was created at the Legoland Windsor resort ahead of celebrations to mark the Queen's birthday taking place this weekend.

It took 650 hours to build using 30,000 bricks and features picnic tables laden with hampers and champagne, Union Jack flags flying and bunting decorations.

Overseeing it all is the Lego Royal Family including a 10cm high Queen and Prince Philip in a 1,350 brick replica of their open topped viewing vehicle.

At the Royal picnic table is Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as Prince Harry plus Princesses Anne, Beatrice and Eugene – and of course the Royal canine companions, The Queen’s Corgis and Ludo.

The scene will be on display at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s Miniland until November.
