As well as activating options on contracts for Josh Ruffles and LiechtensteinGoalkeeper Benji Buchel.

Appleton held talks last week with last season’s Supporters’ Player of the Year, Danny Hylton and Chris Maguire who netted four times in Oxford’s last six games, ensuring them promotion to League One.
Johnny Mullins, Jordan Bowery, Pat Hoban, Freddie Grant and AJ George make up the five players who have been told that they will not be offered new deals with the club.

Three loan players, Jonjoe Kenny, George Waring and Jordan Evans returned to their parent clubs after the final game of the season as Appleton looks to prepare for the start of League One football in August.
