Yes it really is a something!

Here's the photo that will give it away.

Top marks if you said it was a Vietnamese Mossy Frog. Their camouflage has been described as one of the best in the amphibian world and makes them almost indistinguishable from a lump of moss or lichen in the wild.

When frightened, they curl into a ball and remain motionless, mimicking death to avoid further harm.

The Cotswold Wildlife Park in Burford in Oxfordshire are currently celebrating the arrival of eight froglets that have been successfully bred at the park for the first time.

And here's one of them.

Isn't he (or she) sweet!

Mossy Frogs are listed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List of Threatened Species and are currently protected by the Vietnamese government.

Meanwhile, in other closer to home wildlife news and here's a very handsome fox that Sarina Avis spotted one cold night as she nipped to the Co-op.

She said it wasn’t phased by either her or her camera phone.

Chris Colaluca in Ashford found this thirsty one making good use of the bird bath.

Although let’s hope it hadn’t just satisfied it’s hunger with a clean bird.

And Emma Cousins in Aylesford was a bit surprised to see not one but two of them on top of her not one but two shed roofs.

There have also been some interesting squirrel sightings too.

Vivienne Clements had a visit from an albino one in her garden in Bearsted recently.

Whilst Jackie Lewis got some brilliant close up shots of the one in Alexandra Park in Hastings.

Not sure if it’s a different one to the one Vivienne spotted or maybe it's the same one who’s got a bus pass!
