Sussex have bolstered their T20 Blast squad after they added Bangladesh bowler Mustafizur Rahman to their roster.

The 20 year-old left-arm bowler has featured in two Tests, where he made an immediate impact for the national side, taking 4-37 against South Africa on debut. During his maiden ODI against India last year, he became only the tenth bowler in ever to take a five-wicket haul in his first game

Rahman, who will be the first ever Bangledeshi to play for Sussex, is currently preparing for the ICC World T20 in India, which starts on 8 March.

The seamer also looks set to take part in this season’s IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad as one of their seven overseas players.

Depending on how the Sunrisers progress, Rahman is available for the Shark’s entire T20 Blast campaign as well as the Royal London One-Day Cup for a month.
