Cold and damp tonight with outbreaks of rain. A cold and dull start to Valentine's Day but becoming drier and brighter by the afternoon across Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Tonight:Rather cloudy through the evening and overnight with occasional outbreaks of light rain. Easterly winds will be brisk near coasts. Minimum temperature 2 deg C (36 deg F).
Sunday:Another cold day is expected. Patchy light rain during the morning will clear slowly eastwards with some late afternoon bright spells possible. Cold, brisk or strong north-easterly winds. Maximum temperature 6 deg C (43 deg F).
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:Scattered wintry showers, occasionally bright on Monday. Very cold winds with a sharp frost overnight. Mainly dry and bright on Tuesday and Wednesday with frost Tuesday night. Rain later Wednesday.
