Physics student wins chance to train with Russian cosmonauts
A physics student from Kent who dreams of becoming an astronaut has won a competition to train at Star City in Russia.
Greg Smith is studying for a PhD in theoretical physics at the University of Kent. So when he heard about a competition for physics students to win the chance to train with cosmonauts in Russia - he spent weeks dreaming up a design to make sure it'd be him getting on that plane. Coming up with a solution to showering in space.
He made a two minute minute video showcasing his design as part of his competition entry.
