Most of region's MPs will vote for air strikes in Syria
The vast majority of the Meridian region's MPs will support the Government's motion calling for air strikes in Syria, writes Political Correspondent Phil Hornby.
They could include the Labour MP for Hove Peter Kyle.
The other two Labour MPs in the south - Alan Whitehead from Southampton Test and Andrew Smith from Oxford East - both say they will oppose the motion. The country's only Green MP, Caroline Lucas, will also vote against.
Conservative rebels will include John Baron (Basildon and Billericay), Gordon Henderson (Sittingbourne and Sheppey) and Andrew Turner (Isle of Wight).
Julian Lewis - the New Forest East MP who is chair of the Defence Select Committee - has also voiced his doubts about the Government's strategy.
Richard Drax, who voted against bombing Syria in 2013, says he will support the Government this time.
There seems little doubt Mr Cameron will win the vote on Wednesday night - after a marathon House of Commons debate. If that happens, the bombing will start more or less straightaway.
