Elton John to headline Henley Festival
Elton John has been confirmed as the opening night headline act at the Henley Festival next year.
It will follow the release of his new album, Wonderful Crazy Night which is due out in February.
Organisers say he will be performing on the Floating Stage on Wednesday, July 6 - his first performance at the festival in its 34 year history.
It will also be only one of five concerts in the UK next year.
Elton John is one of the world’s most famous musicians. He's sold more than 250 million records worldwide, and holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time.
He has had 37 gold and 27 multi-platinum albums, and has played over 3,500 concerts across 80 countries.
The festival runs from July 6 - 10. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday December 7 at 10am.
