South East prepares for severe weather
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the South East, saying torrential, thundery downpours are likely.
Some areas of the region have already seen surface water flooding and heavy rain.
The South East has been given a 'yellow warning' - meaning we should 'be aware'.
They say 30mm of rain could fall in a very short amount of time - with some areas may see more than 70mm in just a few hours.
It is due to an area of low pressure over northern France being pushed North.
