There are some things you can't ever imagine doing. Like spending half an hour on a Sunday afternoon, having a lovely chat with a truly amazing and inspiring 101 year old, whilst dangling off the side of building that's 557 feet high.

Doris Long, who incidentally holds the record for being the oldest abseiler in the world, likes to do a bit of fundraising for The Rowans Hospice and this year she roped me in to a trip down the Spinnaker Tower. Literally.
