Olympic cyclist debuts as jockey

Olympic cycle champion Victoria Pendleton has made her debut as a jockey at Newbury Racecourse.

She rode the horse Mighty Mambo in the George Frewer Charity Race over a mile and five furlongs.

The race was the first step ahead of Victoria bidding to compete at the Cheltenham Festival in 2016.
