When the photos turn up in my meridianweather@itv.com inbox it's usually fairly easy to find a home for them. I've got folders called "Plants" "Birds" "Odd shaped trees" "Clouds that look like other things" and of course "Sunrises" and "Sunsets", but then you get a few pictures that don't fit into any category at all.

Thank goodness for April the 1st!

That's Sarah Hopper doing a bit of fishing on the beach in Deal but resting her foot on the pier!

Dee Finch in East Farleigh managed to get a rare photo of a blackbird with a glass head.

Although Elaine Walling in Southampton found a gull with no head at all!

And look who Michael Angus spotted driving a van in New Milton.

In other clever pet news Leanne Palmer has a cat called Ozzy who thinks he’s Spiderman.

And finally here’s a handy parking space that Rob Snow found in Hedge End.
