Extraordinary CCTV footage has been released showing the moment police tasered an armed man trying to rob a supermarket in Wiltshire.

A member of staff at the Co-op tried to defend themselves with a shopping basket against the robber armed with a 10-inch kitchen knife.

James Lewis threatened staff at the Co-op in Shrewton, near Salisbury, with the knife before he was overpowered by police.
