One dead and six others injured after crash on the M27

One driver was killed and six others injured when three cars and a lorry crashed into each other in a crash on the M27 this morning.

One car burst into flames, as horrified motorists looked on, moments after the crash at the Whiteley junction of the M27

Long tailbacks began to build up as paramedics fought to save the life of one of the drivers, while six others were taken to the Queen Alexandra hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
