Train disruption: Cross Country rail services
Cross Country have posted the following information on their website - here is the main points they want passengers to consider.
Weather warnings are in place for parts of England and Wales. The impact on CrossCountry services on Monday 28th October is uncertain dependent on weather conditions overnight, but we plan to run our trains normally as quickly as circumstances allow.
Heavy rain and high winds are forecast across central and southern England and Wales tonight and into Monday.
This may mean that some trains are delayed or cancelled, and some Train Operators are running amended timetables with many Train Operators not running a service before 09:00.
Road conditions are also expected to be hazardous, so please allow extra time to reach the station and allow extra time for connecting trains.
