Warning about using do-it-yourself tattoo kits safely

Tattoos are becoming more popular than ever thanks to the likes of pop singer Cheryl Cole and footballer David Beckham, who have helped make the artworks more fashionable.

However, there are concerns tonight about the growing craze of Do-it-yourself tattoo kits - which are a cheap alternative to the real thing and completely legal.

Two teenagers from Sussex ended up in hospital with infections after using the kits at a tattoo party. Now, as Charlotte Wilkins explains in a special report, experts are warning others of the dangers.
