Archbishop receives 'Freedom of Canterbury'
The Archbishop of Canterbury has been given the freedom of the city. The award was conferred on Doctor Rowan Williams in recognition of his work in the district and his contribution to charities and the community.
The Archbishop is to leave his post next month after ten years years in the job. Our reporter Nashreen Issa was there to see him receive the honour. Former Beirut hostage Sir Terry Waite was also in attendance.
