Trial jury told Connor Saunders' death a result of 'self-defence' punch

Connor Saunders was killed in April - he died a day after being punched

A jury has been told that a boy accused of killing a teenager outside a shop in Sussex was acting in self-defence.

Connor Saunders, aged 19, died from brain injuries after being punched during an argument in Rottingdean earlier this year.

A fourteen-year-old boy is on trial, accused of his manslaughter. Malcolm Shaw reports from Hove Crown Court.
