Passengers tell of ferry crossing in gale force winds
Ferry passengers who travelled on a crossing from Dorset to the Channel Islands in in winds of gale force 6 are asking why the journey was allowed.
Thirty cars were damaged and passengers left terrified as the Condor Ferry sailed from Poole to Jersey in rough seas and high winds.
But the company says the sea state was perfectly safe to sail on as Martin Dowse reports.
