Developers predict up to 6,000 jobs for Sandwich
Developers who have taken over the Discovery Park at the old Pfizer site in Sandwich in east Kent are predicting the creation of three thousand to six thousand new jobs in the area.
It's a bold claim. The potential of an economic boost is promising for an area which lost around 2,000 jobs when the global pharmaceutical giant Pfizer decided to reduce its workforce two years ago. John Ryall reports on how likely those new jobs are, and what sort of jobs would be available.
