Today's headlines:- Ford Shock Closure - Up to 500 workers at car manufacturer Ford's Southampton plant are preparing themselves for the expected news the company is to close the factory. The American firm is restructuring it's European operation due to a slump in sales and has already announced it's closing its plant in Belgium making 4,300 people redundant.
Sneak Preview - We're to get a first look at a multi million pound development in a Hampshire town which brings fresh hopes for its regeneration. The Westgate Development has a cinema, restaurants and supermarket. Unlucky for them? A cats charity has announced today is National Black Cat day to try to highlight the plight of the black 'moggies' who are the least popular when it comes to finding new homes.
