The A34 has been closed for much of the day

Thousands of drivers are still caught up in long delays after a car transporter overturned on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. The A34 was closed in both directions last night after the vehicle under tow broke free and crashed through the central reservation near Whitchurch shedding its load of Range Rovers.

The road is closed between Bullington Cross and Tot Hill. A 29-year-old man hes been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. Penny Silvester reports.
