Fixers: Motorbike safety warning - catching them young
A twenty-year-old woman who had to be revived by medics six times after the motorbike accident that killed her fiancé, has launched a road safety project.
Jen Byrne and her best friend Rachel - both from Newhaven in Sussex, are using shock treatment in their plan to keep other young people alive, and prevent them from suffering the pain that she went through after the collision that changed her life for ever.
This is Meridian East's first story in our new series from Fixers - the campaign that helps young people make a difference. In their repot Jen and Rachel speak to Ande Friend - a motorcycle instructor, and Chief Inspector Phil Nicholas from the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership.
