GCSE results are out tomorrow
The school summer holidays are drawing to a close, and while many pupils may have been enjoying the break - for some tomorrow marks an important day in the educational calendar - GCSE results will be released for thousands and thousands of young people in the South.
The examinations face an uncertain future with the government looking at plans to scrap the qualification all together, and introduce what it says would be tougher tests more geared towards the workplace as well as opportunities for further studies.
Our social affairs correspondent Christine Alsford has been speaking to some students expecting their results on Thursday who say the exams are tough, and those who get good grades just happen to have worked hard to achieve them.
