'She was a lovely neighbour' - tributes for pensioner found dead in Ocean Village

Police cordon remains at Ocean Village in Southampton

The former neighbour of a woman in her eighties who was found dead at a luxury flat in Southampton has paid tribute to her.

The pensioner was discovered by members of her family on Saturday evening. In a post mortem examination, a Home Office pathologist found that she had died as a result of a blow to the head. Two people have since been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Rob Williams who used to live in the same block said he had lived at the Ocean Village complex for about 15 years, and the incident was out of character for the area. He said the victim was 'a nice lady who always had a word to say to people'.
