Council to buy Dreamland

The future looks a little more certain for one of the region's biggest theme parks this evening.

Dreamland in Margate, which has lain decaying and abandoned for years, has had a CPO or compulsory purchase order put on it by the local council.

Thanet District Council is promising to reopen it - and make it - in their words:-

"A major seaside visitor attraction of national and regional significance". Sarah Saunders reports.
